The Club La Santa Volcano Triathlon has been running since 1984. It’s an Olympic Distance with a 1.5km swim in the Lagoon, a 40k bike from Club La Santa through Famara and up towards a turning point near Teguise and a run from the Club to the Village and back.
On the day that I filmed it started overcast but by 10km into the ride the sun is out and we can enjoy the blue skies.
