The ride starts in le Brassus in the swiss Jura with a rather flat part of 14 km. In the next 5 km you go up to the Col de la Givrine at 1232 m with a very gentle gradient, followed by a 5 km down hill section (with an average slope of about -4%) to the village St Cergue. Border crossings at 5 and 17 km
