The Lago della Sella is a reservoir above the Gotthard Pass. It is located in the municipality of Airolo, in the canton of Ticino, at an altitude of 2255 meters above sea level. The lake has a length of around 1.3km, is up to 400m wide and is dammed in the southern part by a 36m high dam wall, completed in 1947.
