Belgium’s Green Belt Route part 05: Sint-Pieters-Leeuw to Halle

The Green Belt Cycling Route is a 125.7 km circular route that encircles Brussels. It takes you through a diverse landscape of rolling hills, fertile valleys, and picturesque villages. You'll pass by impressive castles, sprawling farms, and ancient forests. The route is well-marked and suitable for cyclists of all levels. Halle's charming city center boasts a historic basilica and cozy squares. Surrounding the city, you'll find rolling hills, tranquil valleys, and the enchanting Hallerbos forest, famous for its purple bluebells in spring.
