Hole in the Ground is one of the must-do trails in the Truckee-Tahoe area. Its difficulty comes from the combination of steepness, technical sections and high elevation (thin air). A very rewarding ride with spectacular views of Castle Peak (elevation 9,103 feet) and many fun sections, if you have the skills (I walked a lot).
