After the first 4 km flat, you get a 4 km downhill section to the Rhone river. After crossing it, you go up for 4 scenic km's on the other side. Then again you go down for a few km to the large 'barrage de Genissiat', a 420 MW hydro power dam in the Rhone (the largest in Europe when it started in 1948), finishing by 4 km uphill. Enjoy!
