Coll de sa Batalla
This is the second of three videos that take you in a circular route from Pollenca in Northern Mallorca, initially up the Col de Femenia, then down the Coll de sa Batalla, and then back to Pollenca. Most cyclists seem to do the ride clockwise (you'll see that in this video with the sheer volume of cyclists doing the uphill Col de sa Batalla section!) taking in the Col De sa Batalla (7.9kms, ave 5%) first. But I chose to do the ride anti-clockwise starting with the 7.6kms, average 6% climb first and taking advantage of the shade.
This second video is mostly downhill along some spectacular roads with multiple hairpin bends although, as I was on an unfamiliar hire bike so I didn't take them as fast as I might of. There is one very brief stop to get a picture of the view but otherwise, it's full steam ahead down to the villages of Caimari and then Selva.
The preceding climb video, up the Coll de Femenia, is here and the next video through the countryside from Selva back to Pollenca is here.
