The start of the time trial is on the North Sea beach, near the casino, at KNOKKE. During the first 1.5 km the riders will cycle along the sea, followed by a passage in the center of Knokke-Heist. Then it goes inland. The decor of this time trial? Canals and waterways with typical trees that, drawn by the wind, have grown obliquely.
