Ciclovia Alpe Adria Radweg - Stage 6 of 15 - Unterkolbnitz to Spittal

Ciclovia Alpe Adria Radweg - Alpe Adria Cycle Trail - Indoor Cycling Workout. With telemetry Stage 6 - Unterkolbnitz to Spittal an der Drau- 21.9km 55 minutes - 100m ascent - 150m descent. Starting from Gasthof Kirchenwirt, Unterkolbnitz, we join the Alpe Adria Cycle path alongside the Möll river. Again, this route is also the Eurovelo 7, as well as the R8: Glockner/Mölltal Radweg. We cross the river on a beautiful wooden bridge to Mühldorf, then pass the popular rest-stop 'My Acker Lounge', as we cycle through some truly picturesque Carinthian countryside. Crossing a colourful bridge we cycle along a road section through Möllbrücke before joining the dedicated cycle path alongside the Drau river. The R8 Mölltal Radweg ends, as the river Möll now joins the Drau. We also lose the Eurovelo 7, as it now heads towards Italy via the Dolomites. In their place, the Alpe Adria path shares the R1 Drauradweg cycle path. After more beautiful countryside and crossing the busy B100, we finally arrive at the town of Spittal an der Drau.
