You leave Teguise passing Johnnie Bakes on your right. The road climbs through the village of Los Valles and up past the windmills eventually reaching a maximum altitude of 600m. A series of hairpin bends with stunning views take you down to Haria where the climbing starts again.

Eventually you turn onto the narrow road that hugs the cliff tops and takes you up to Rio del Mirador. There are beautiful views of La Graciosa across the water.

In the next section you start the journey south again.
