Lake Ohau Village is serenely set against the snow-capped mountains and deep-blue lake and is popular with locals and visitors during the summer for water sport and camping and in winter for skiing and snowboarding at Ohau Snow Fields. Lake Ohau Lodge is also the end of the stunning section 3 of the Alps 2 Ocean Cycle Trail and the beginning of section 4 to Omarama.
