This segment starts at the McKittrick trailhead and ends passing through Bernheimer.
The Katy Rail Trail is nearly 240 miles long and spans nearly the full width of Missouri. It is the longest continuous rail-trail in the United States, is in the Rail-Trail Hall of Fame, and is designated a Millennium Legacy Trail.
