Armadale to Forth

I asked Strava one Sunday to give me a route with plenty of inclines. This is where it sent me!  The road out of Armadale, south of Edinburgh is pretty bleak, even on a Summer's day, but this video was shot in Winter!  It was a grey day but it was dry for most of the ride with just a slight bit of dampness towards the end.  The ride is almost a constant incline from start to finish but none of them is too taxing - I think the steepest is only around 9%. 

If you want the downhill after this there are three other videos that cover this. There's the complete ride - Forth to Caldercruix (24kms) or if that's too long you can do them in two parts; Forth to Shotts (9kms) and then Shotts to Caldercruix (15kms).
