The wind normally blows from the Northeast making this a fast section of the ride. You cycle through La Geria (wine district) and down to Uga and Yaiza. Then it is a long straight and fast road to Playa Blanca on the far south of the island. As you approach Playa Blanca you will see the mountains on the island of Fuerteventura.

Unfortunately, on the next section you are probably cycling back into the wind up to Timanfaya.
