Kirkintilloch to Crow Road
Two of the most famous cycling hill climbs in Central Scotland are the Tak Ma Doon and Crow Road. Crow Road from my house is around 30kms and the easiest and quickest way to get there is along the Forth and Clyde canal tow paths to Kirkintilloch and then by taking the National Cycle Network Route 755, which uses the old Strathkelvin Railway line, to Lennoxtown before heading up into the Campsie Hills. NCR755 is an easy and traffic free route through some beautiful countryside North of Glasgow. The route also includes part of the John Muir Way and the Thomas Muir Heritage Trail. But for me it's more a route to get to the Crow Road which you can cover in my next video.
