Binniehill to Standburn
In the hills to the south of my home town of Falkirk, there are plenty of very quiet country roads. Even though I've cycled them for many years I'm always finding new variations of routes and sometimes roads that I have not been on before. This video takes in such a route to the east of Avonbridge alongside the River Avon Heritage Trail. There's a slight incline at the start of the ride but once we reach Limerigg it's pretty much flat until the finish. It was also a lovely sunny morning, a rarity in Scotland, which makes a huge difference to the video.
