Nature, lava rock and probably the most active volcano in the world🌴🌋🪨! On this multi-faceted Devastation Trail hike🇺🇸, we make our way to the Halemaʻumaʻu Crater of Kīlauea Volcano, where legend has it that Pele, the Hawai'ian goddess of fire and volcano, found her final abode🔥🌋🙏🏻 - as the two of us also felt we had recognized😁. On the way to the "Eruption Viewing" we tangent among other things the Puʻupuaʻi cinder cone formed during the 1959 eruption. Look forward to a fascinating mix of life and destruction on what is probably the most active volcano in the world and a view of the current eruption at the end (at night one can also see lava)🌋☠️🌺☀️. By the way - only a couple of metres away there is a lake made of lava stone, on which you can hike in our Kīlauea Iki Trail Hike.
