This is it! You found it! The famous Mt Hamilton West ride, including the climb and the ride back all the way down. (Here is the video with the climb only)
Not the steepest climb but it is long and gradual. The highest and most popular summit in the San Francisco Bay area. The newly paved bottom part makes it even more special with many trees blooming! A must do! Do you have the legs for it? Enjoy chasing the motorcycle on the way down... ;)
The Lick Observatory at the summit is an astronomical observatory owned and operated by the University of California and is open to visitors. Recommended.
