This is the eighth and final segment of a multi-segment 70-mile westbound ride of the entire length of the Trail of the Coeur d'Alenes from Mullan, Idaho to Plummer, Idaho.
This eighth and final segment of the ride continues the climb out of Plummer Creek canyon, traversing an area that was ravaged by a forest fire about a week earlier. You'll recognized it when you see the devastation along with some fire hoses still laying across the trail.

`The Trail of the Coeur d'Alenes is one of the crown jewels of US Rail Trails and is on the Rail Trail Hall of Fame. The full trail covers 72 paved miles through scenic mountains and valleys in Idaho's Panhandle.
