Section1_Les Matelles_La source du Lez

Ce circuit de 13km se situe au Nord de Montpellier, entre vignes et garrigues, au pied de notre "Pic Saint Loup", mont qui culmine à 658m et qui fournit un excellent vin AOC, (à boire avec modération bien sur). La balade commence aux village des Matelles (2000h), et par une petite route pittoresque nous irons rejoindre à quelques kilomètres de là un autre joli village: "Saint Jean de Cuculles", ensuite direction un vers un 3eme tout petit village: "Le Triadou" et pour finir, je vous amène voir "les sources du Lez" rivière souterraine qui fait surface à cet endroit et qui alimente environ 350000 foyers, ce circuit est sonorisé et agrémenté d'infos tout le long de son parcours, bonne promenade.
This 13km circuit is located in the North of Montpellier, between vineyards and garrigues, at the foot of our "Pic Saint Loup", a mountain which culminates at 658m and which provides an excellent AOC wine, (to be drunk in moderation of course). The walk starts in the village of Les Matelles (2000h), and by a small picturesque road we will go to join a few kilometers away another pretty village: "Saint Jean de Cuculles", then direction towards a 3rd very small village: "Le Triadou" and to finish, I bring you to see "les sources du Lez" underground river which surfaces at this place and which feeds approximately 350000 households, this circuit is sounded and decorated with information all along its course, good walk.
