Cycle with us from Merano to Resia and back again! Start your tour in Merano, take the train to the Resia Pass, and then enjoy the easy descent back to Merano. The route offers breathtaking mountain views, challenging but manageable climbs, and numerous opportunities to stop for refreshments.
We highly recommend the upper part of the route. Although we couldn't cycle around Lake Resia due to construction work (the lake was drained), backtracking wasn't bad at all. The mountain views were fantastic, and the climbs, while demanding, are manageable for everyone. Along the route, there are numerous opportunities to stop for refreshments and exciting variations that lead into side valleys or, for the more athletically ambitious, even up to the Stelvio Pass.
