This is a ride eastbound across prairie, farmland and woodlands on the Katy Rail Trail in the State of Missouri.
This segment starts at the at the Mokane trailhead, jumps past the rockslide just before Portland and ends passing by the Portland trailhead.
The Katy Rail Trail is nearly 240 miles long and spans nearly the full width of Missouri. It is the longest continuous rail-trail in the United States, is in the Rail-Trail Hall of Fame, and is designated a Millennium Legacy Trail.
