This is the seventh segment of an eight-segment, 70-mile westbound ride of the entire length of the Trail of the Coeur d'Alenes from Mullan, Idaho to Plummer, Idaho.
This seventh segment of the ride is from Harrison, Idaho over the unique stairstep design of the Chatcolet bridge and on to Plummer Creek canyon. There begins the long, steady climb out of the canyon which will continue in the next segment and end at the trail-end in Plummer, Idaho.
The Trail of the Coeur d'Alenes is one of the crown jewels of US Rail Trails and is on the Rail Trail Hall of Fame. The full trail covers 72 paved miles through scenic mountains and valleys in Idaho's Panhandle.
