Second part of a long ride looping around the Pentland Hills, south west of Edinburgh. This ride is on the western side of the hills , mostly flat or downhill apart from short very steep bit near the end. Some off road, on track, where I came off my bike trying to avoid pedestrians and some workmen. A bit embarrassing and rather painful, resulting in bruised ribs. My speed reduced somewhat after that!.
