This led from Ismaning on the Isar to the Ampersee in Dachau. At the beginning the tour leads along the Isar and further west along the cycle path on the B471. From Garching, the route leads via DirnIsmaningen north past Fröttmaninger Heide in the direction of Oberschleissheim Castle. From Oberschleissheim the cycle path continues along the B471 towards Dachau, passing the rowing regatta course of the 1972 Olympics. The tour ends at the Ampersee on the western outskirts of Dachau.
The route is flat at the beginning and slightly undulating in the middle section.
