The Col du Sabot is a dead-end climb, but gives amazing views. It’s a road that has everything: mountain vistas, switchbacks, Alpine meadows, waterfalls and a tough last kilometre – 11% – that takes you to an altitude of 2,108m.
It is not unusual to come across a few cows! At the end of the ride and you will be rewarded with a view over the Lake Grand Maison.
A must climb Col if you are in The Alps.
