Ride down from Colfax to the old Iowa Hill Bridge, a wire suspension bridge over North Fork American River that was built in 1928 by Placer County to replace an earlier wooden bridge at the same location. The bridge has steel lattice towers and a wood deck and was initially used by miners and coaches to go from Colfax to Iowa Hill.
As always with downhill videos, use Discovery mode or it will only last a few minutes... If you turn the sound on, you will enjoy the singing from my gravel tires on the asphalt, makes the downhill more realistic! I like riding fast downhill, if you get sick on fast curvy descents, maybe you should not use this video.
