Low Valleyfield to the Forth Road Bridge
This a short ride along the cycle paths of the National Cycle Route (NCR) 76 and the Fife Coastal Path. The ride starts just outside the village of Low Valleyfield and takes you through the quaint Fife seaside villages of Torryburn, Charlestown-on-Forth and Limekilns before passing the naval base of Rosyth and arriving at the Forth Road Bridge with its magnificent views of the old rail bridge and the new Queensferry Crossing. There's a couple of short steep inclines in this ride but they don't last long otherwise it's mostly flat.
If you want you can continue along the next section of the NCR 76 over the Forth Road Bridge and back to West Lothain on the South side of the river Forth through to the delightful village of Blackness ( An Dubh-Nis) with its ancient castle in my next video Forth Road Bridge to Blackness.
