Grangemouth to Falkirk
This short ride starts beside the newly-built Queen ELizabeth canal just to the North of the Kelpies. The tall mast like structure you see at the start removes masts from boats before they start their journey from the River Forth along the Forth and Clyde canal. After that, you'll get a brief glimpse of the Kelpie statues before continuing on National Cycle Route 76 to Skinflats before turning South back towards Falkirk through the villages of Carron and Carronshore. The ride follows mainly cycle paths, to begin with before re-joining the public roads and finishing just beside the newly refurbished Rosebank whisky distillery.
