A long climb brings you via the famous 'Lacets de Montvernier' to the 'Col de Chaussy' (at 1531 m altitude) in the Maurienne Valley of the French Alps. There was not a lot of sun, but the views are spectacular so a good reason to try it (if you are fit enough to do a 1000 m climb). Good luck and enjoy!!
