Tour de Suisse 2022: First Stage Loop

The Tour de Suisse 2022 will not start with a prologue as usual. The first stage, to be contested as a circuit, is a real challenge! The course towards Greifensee, the Zurich Oberland and over the Pfannenstil back to Küsnacht ZH will be completed four times and includes a total of over 2,000 metres of altitude. General Classification riders need to be on their toes from day one. While it may not be possible to win the Tour here it can definitely be lost. If the race is tough, the experts expect a group of 10-20 riders to fight for the day’s victory at the end. Note: The Overlay at the beginning says 2002. It is in fact 2022. Sorry for that, what a fail!! The video starts at about km 38 of the loop. So the exact starting point and arrival of the stage is after 19:30 or 6.7 km of the video. In addition, there are some minor detour from the original stage unintentionally (not found the way...) or intentionally (because of traffic). So the loop is about 1.6 km longer than the original course. Anyway, 98% of the course is OK.
