Elafonisi beach in the south-west of Crete in Greece 🇬🇷 - this uninhabited island 🗾, which is connected to the main island of Crete via a sandbank, impresses with its pink sand🏝️💕. We start on the island and then walk towards the sandbank along the Libyan Sea 🌊. When the salt water washes over the sand, the pink coloration, which is caused by tiny shell particles 🐚, is most clearly visible. Enjoy the idyll!
