K020 Val d'Intelvi 2/2 Erbonne - Cernobbio

Val d'Intelvi, or Intelvi valley, is a mountainous valley area located in the province of Como, near the border with Switzerland

The valley is made up of two main branches: a southern one, crossed by the Telo stream that flows into Lake Como at Argegno, and a northern one, crossed by the Telo di Osteno that flows into Lake Lugano at Osteno; [1] [2] I two branches are separated by the Sella di San Fedele, at an altitude of 735 meters. [2] A third branch is represented by the high Val Mara, which forms a plateau where Lanzo d'Intelvi rises. The valley therefore has an inverted "Y" shape, where the lower vertices are the two outlets on the relative lakes and the upper summit is instead placed at the highest altitude, Monte Generoso (1 704 meters), in the municipality of Centro Valle Intelvi, on the border with Switzerland.

This route is characterized by very precise changes of slopes that make pedaling more realistic
