The River Vecht winding its way between Utrecht and Amsterdam. This route starts in Maarssen this town is often referred to as ‘little Amsterdam’ thanks to the magnificent river-side houses. The Vecht is a very popular area among both sailors, cyclists and pedestrians because the riverbanks of the Vecht are studded with beautiful historical estates, tea houses, castles and windmills.
