Park Maksimir, opened in 1794, is for Zagreb what Bois de Boulogne is for Paris. On this wonderful spring day, start at the central viewpoint and visit the Lake III first, then a monument, the main promenade and lakes II and I (near the Zoo). Finish in front of the main entrance.
