The ride starts in the Riverbend suburb of Calgary and makes its way along the irrigation canal, past an industrial complex to the left of the bike path, through the city, and down to the popular Edworthy Park. About halfway at 33:40 minutes there's a short but steep little hill. Near the end of the ride as you go past the hospital on your right there's a downhill that's fun, but the fun is short lived in real life as there's a 30kpm zone. Yep, police can be out with radar guns and they'll even ticket cyclists. But virtually -- go for it!! Once at Edworthy it's time for an espresso as you overlook the Bow River and bridge.
