It starts from the hilly area characterized by the Pentidattilo rock and passes through the villages of Masella and Montebello Jonico. Finally you arrive at the town of Fossato Jonico from where the hardest and most demanding climb begins. Don't forget to ensure proper hydration during a hot and dry August morning.
