First part of a large counterclockwise bike workout on the hills and through the valleys of Tuscany, Italy, in the southern part of the Province of Pisa, near Volterra.
Starting at the crossing of the Trossa river beyond the borgo Micciano. Climbing the hills west of Pomarance to the highest point of this tour, at 288 m.
Then turning north. Steep downhill to the Cecina bridge, then on to the city of Saline di Volterra.
