An t-Òb to Grose-Clett
The Isle of Harris in the Outer Hebrides of Scotland is magical for cycling. There are really only two roads through the island and they could not be more different. The West coast road is the most popular (with tourists and cyclists alike) as it takes you past all the iconic beaches (Luskintyre, Seilebost, Horgabost, Scarista and Borve) with their golden sands and gorgeous blue-green waters.
The East coast road however is the quietest but the hilliest with a more rocky and barren landscape (and no beaches). It's probably my favourite road though and one that this video covers. Unfortunately, I had to do it in the early morning just as the sun was coming up so there are some sections where the camera is shooting into the sun which leaves the exposure a little dark. Hopefully, that doesn't spoil your workout?
If you wanted to do the complete circular route of the Isle of Harris, this video continues at the end of this one taking you back to the start at An t-Òb (Leverburgh).
